Judy Guice brings decades of experience to the table in representation of her clients. After graduating from Millsaps College in 1975 and receiving her J.D. from the University of Mississippi in 1980, Judy served as law clerk to Judge William C. Keady, Northern District of Mississippi from 1980–1983. She is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Mississippi, in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and in the United States Supreme Court.
With a practice focusing on civil litigation from the plaintiff’s perspective, primarily in the areas of personal injury and insurance bad faith, Judy has a proven record as a tough, yet compassionate advocate for her clients. In 2009, Judy presented oral argument before the En Banc Mississippi Supreme Court in the landmark Hurricane Katrina case of Corban v. USAA, 20 So.3d 601(Miss. 2009). She has been selected by her peers as the 2010 Outstanding Woman Lawyer of the Year.
