K. Dustin Markham
A native of Meridian, K. Dustin Markham has been licensed to practice law in the State of Mississippi since 2011. Mr. Markham is admitted to practice in all state courts in the State of Mississippi, and before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Northern and Southern United States District Courts, and the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians Tribal Court. Mr. Markham's practice includes Family Law, Criminal Law, and Wills and Trusts. He currently serves as Defender in the Lauderdale County Youth Court.
Mr. Markham is a cum laude graduate of Meridian High School, a graduate of Meridian Community College, and a 2007 cum laude graduate of Jackson State University, having obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He is a 2010 graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he was active in the Democratic Committee, Black Law Students Association, Southern Law Coalition, and American Bar Association Student Division. He served as President of the Disaster Relief Legal Association, an organization charged with providing pro-bono legal services to those individuals experiencing the aftereffects of Hurricane Katrina. Through his efforts, the organization continues to provide volunteers to the New Orleans Legal Assistance Corporation.
