Karen Thalacker joined Correll & Sheerer as an associate attorney in January of 2015. Karen's practice focuses on family law and general practice. Karen started her career as an Assistant Black Hawk County Attorney. She has been in private practice in Waverly for over 20 years. Karen is trained in Collaborative Law and also acts as a parenting coordinator for high conflict parents. Since 2009, Karen has served as a judicial magistrate for Bremer County and is also the pre-law advisor at Wartburg College. Karen is the author of "The New Lawyer's Handbook: 101 Things They Don't Teach You in Law School" and two knitting books for children. She has received the Friend of Education Award from the Waverly-Shell Rock School System and also received a key to the City of Waverly.
