Ms. Tosh’s legal career spans three decades in which she focused primarily on divorce, dissolution of marriage, child custody, adoption and other family law matters. Ms. Tosh has tried divorce cases in Alabama, Kentucky, and Massachusetts. She has also defended felony criminal cases, including a court martial conducted at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. She has an unbroken record of acquittals in criminal cases. Ms. Tosh has also represented clients in federal court, including defense of medical malpractice claims and civil rights violations. During her over thirty years practicing law, Ms. Tosh was a founding partner in Scent and Scent, P.S.C., Paducah, Kentucky; served family law counsel to Hill & Barlow, a 135 lawyer firm in Boston, was a partner in Lynch, Brewer, Hoffman & Fink in Boston, and has practiced solo as a litigator, mediator and arbitrator. In 2002, she trained in arbitration and mediation with Roger Fisher at the Harvard Law School Negotiation Project.
