Kathryn E. Bonorchis
Kathryn is joining McCarthy Wilson after eight years of practice in the areas of insurance defense litigation. She works primarily in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage, commercial litigation, construction litigation, products liability, premises liability and personal injury. Kathryn assists in the representation of individuals, institutional and commercial clients. She has been involved in bench and jury trials at the state and Federal level, as well as mediations and arbitration hearings. Kathryn is barred in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
After graduating from James Madison University with a B.A. in Philosophy in 2000, Kathryn worked for several years at a large law firm in the District of Columbia. She then attended the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America, receiving her Juris Doctor in 2006. While attending law school, she worked as a law clerk for McCarthy Wilson. After graduating from law school, Kathryn served as a law clerk to the Honorable William J. Rowan, III (Ret.) in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.
