Katy Kennedy graduated from Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law in 2008 where she graduated magna cum laude, was a William L. Crowe, Sr. Scholar and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. While in law school, Ms. Kennedy was a member of the Loyola Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Executive Board where she coached two teams: one that won first place in the Information Technology and Privacy Moot Court Competition at Vanderbilt University Law School. Ms. Kennedy was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Fredericka Homberg Wicker. In conjunction with this externship, Ms. Kennedy presented at a seminar on domestic issues chaired by Judge Wicker entitled The “Grimm” Truth of Post-Katrina Domestic Issues.
