Kristin L. Stocks was born and raised near Raleigh, North Carolina. In 2003, she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 2004, Kristin moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where she attended Florida Coastal School of Law. After graduation from law school in 2007, she started her career with a small firm in Jacksonville, Florida. In 2008, Kristin relocated to southwest Florida and worked for over 5 years for a busy insurance defense firm in Fort Myers, Florida, gaining a wealth of experience in civil litigation including automobile liability defense, uninsured/underinsured motorist liability, premises liability, and wrongful death for various insurance companies. Kristin was excited to join Vernis & Bowling of Southwest Florida, P.A. in 2014, where she is focusing her practice in the areas of insurance defense, construction defect litigation, premises liability, and personal injury protection litigation.
In her spare time, Kristin enjoys relaxing on the beautiful beaches of southwest Florida, playing tennis, and being an avid Tarheel fan with her husband, Erik.
