Kristopher R. McClellan is an associate with Lawson and Silek, P.L.C. Kris received his J.D. magna cum laude from the Washington and Lee University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in International Relations and History from The College of William & Mary. While in law school, Kris served as a staffwriter for the Washington and Lee Law Review and a Lead Articles Editor for the German Law Journal. He also worked for the Virginia Poverty Law Center, the Office of the Chief Staff Attorney of the Supreme Court of Virginia, and in the legal department of Norfolk Southern Corporation. During his third year of law school, Kris was a member of the Washington and Lee Black Lung Clinic representing coal miners seeking federal benefits. His work for the Clinic included conducting expert depositions and examining witnesses before an Administrative Law Judge.
