Kyle A. Johnson
Kyle joined our firm in 2013 after receiving his JD from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. At Case Western, Kyle focused his attention on civil and criminal litigation. Kyle was a member of the ABA Moot Court Team, receiving a best advocate award for his performance in the Boston Regional of the ABA Moot Court Competition, and was a participant in the Dean Dunmore Moot Court Competition. Outside of class, Kyle interned for a number of organizations, including the Loudoun County Public Defender’s Office in Leesburg, VA, the Office of the Federal Public Defender’s Capital Habeas Unit in Cleveland, OH, the Lorain County Prosecutor’s Office in Elyria, OH, as well as for a solo-practitioner in Shaker Heights, OH.
Prior to attending law school, Kyle received his BA from the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, VA. Kyle was a distinguished academic graduate and served as an officer in the VMI Corps of Cadets. Kyle was also a member of the VMI football team where he earned three varsity letters and a full scholarship from the VMI Keydet Club.
