L. Paul Kehoe
L. Paul Kehoe (Senior Counsel) was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1962. He is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Kehoe graduated from Syracuse University in 1959 and from Syracuse Law School, magna cum laude, with a Juris Doctor degree in 1962.
Mr. Kehoe served in the U.S. Army after graduation from law school and began his private law practice in 1963 with the firm of Scanlon, Wright, Wilmott and Aylward in Watertown, New York. In 1966 he formed the firm of Brandt & Kehoe in Wolcott, New York, with John W. Brandt. The firm eventually became Newman, Kehoe, Wunder & Bartlett with offices in Wolcott and Lyons, New York. In 1966 he was appointed First Assistant District Attorney for Wayne County. He was appointed Wayne County District Attorney by Governor Nelson Rockefeller in 1967. He was elected and re-elected Wayne County District Attorney in 1967 and 1970. In 1971 he returned to full time private law practice.
