L. Sidney Connor, IV
L. Sidney Connor, IV is a member of the firm. He graduated from Duke University School of Law in 1982 and has been awarded an A rating by Martindale Hubbell, the lawyer referral service. His practice areas include class actions, automobile wrecks, trucking accidents, motorcycle wrecks, liquor liability, wrongful death, nursing home negligence, construction claims, auto fraud, products liability and a general trial practice. He successfully argued to the South Carolina Supreme Court that an arbitration clause in the purchase of an automobile was unconscionable and illegal. (Simpson v. Addy’s Harbor Dodge) He has a passion for consumer law and has years of experience as a trial lawyer. He has argued cases before the South Carolina Supreme Court, the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States District Court. When he is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time playing basketball and fishing on his boat. He is active in his church and as a little league baseball coach and various charitable causes throughout our area.
