Larry Wall was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from East High and went to work for the telephone company as a central office installer. He then became a Teamster and worked his way through college at North Texas State where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 1969. He was then awarded a scholarship to law school. He graduated from Southern Methodist School of Law in 1972. At law school his favorite activity was representing indigent clients in the Legal Aid Clinic. His entire professional career of over 42 years has been exclusively devoted to litigation.His first job as a lawyer was as an Assistant District Attorney in Wichita, Kansas. He worked there from 1972 through 1974. During that time he was hand picked by Kansas Attorney General Vern Miller to prosecute several high profile arson and organized crime cases. He won all of the cases. Wall never lost a felony criminal jury trial and he was involved in over 40 felony jury trials.
