Laura H. White
Laura White has a proven track record of successfully and aggressively representing both individuals and business clients facing litigation. She has extensive experience in employment litigation, plaintiff’s personal injury matters, and medical malpractice cases. Laura’s statewide employment practice involves cases in federal and state courts throughout Maine, as well as the Maine Human Rights Commission. Laura routinely provides advice on human resource matters such as separation and termination, compensation and employee benefits, wage and hour issues, and handbook drafting. In addition to her employment and personal injury practice, Laura handles intellectual property cases, insurance disputes, contract negotiations, and commercial litigation matters.
Before joining Bergen & Parkinson in 2011, Laura gained tremendous experience working for some of the best trial and appellate lawyers in Maine. A 2006 cum laude graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, Laura was a case note and comment editor of the Maine Law Review, a clerk in the West Bath District Court, and an intern at the Cumberland County District Attorney’s office and Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic.
