Regardless of modest finances, Larry always remembered the goodwill his family would show to other community members in their time of need. Whether it was food donations or lending a helping hand, community service remains a foundational value in his life and work.
After graduating from the University of Colorado in 1992 with a major in music, Larry worked in the music industry and then spent a few years as a stockbroker, earning his Series 6, 7 and Colorado insurance licenses.
While attending the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law, Larry served as a clerk at the tax law firm of Gelt, Paddison & Zinn. Handling multinational tax lawsuits offered Larry an opportunity to explore case management. His expertise led to a co-authored article on 1031 exchanges published in The Colorado Lawyer.
