Lesa Wilson represents employers in all aspects of the employment relationship. Her clients include private businesses and public entities, including school districts, colleges, and cities, as well as their employees. Ms. Wilson has extensive advisory experience including formulating policies and procedures, preparing employee handbooks, training employees and supervisors, conducting internal investigations and recommending preventative, disciplinary and corrective action.
Ms. Wilson also has substantial experience in the defense of employers in employment-related litigation, including harassment, discrimination and wrongful termination matters. Ms. Wilson has defended wage and hour claims before the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and the U.S. Department of Labor. She has represented her clients’ interests in administrative charges and litigation filed with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Office for Civil Rights (OCR). Ms. Wilson also has extensive experience in defending property owners sued under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
