Leslie Tentler Ridings
Ms. Ridings practices primarily in the areas of insurance coverage, health care litigation defense and personal injury actions. Her practice includes providing coverage opinions to insurance carriers, and also working closely with carriers to advise them on matters involving fraud and arson investigations. Ms. Ridings practices and tries cases in state and federal courts, where she represents both individuals and businesses. Ms. Ridings has written articles and given presentations on numerous topics, ranging from workers’ compensation law updates to presentations on bad faith avoidance and medical malpractice defense.
Ms. Ridings is a partner in the firm’s Civil Litigation area of practice. While in law school at the University of Tennessee, Ms. Ridings was a member of the dean’s list, the Moot Court Board and the Dean’s Advisory Counsel. She received academic excellence awards in Legal Profession, Constitutional Law II and Case Development. Prior to obtaining her Juris Doctorate, Ms. Ridings worked for ten years in retail store management for major department stores. Ms. Ridings is a member of the House of Delegates for the Tennessee Bar Association. She currently serves as the chair of the firm’s attorney recruiting committee.
