Liz Labrin is a Wichita native and a graduate of Kansas State University where she earned degrees in Spanish and International Studies. Liz has long been interested in traveling and studying other cultures. After college, she considered becoming a mission worker abroad, but decided law school would give her the best foundation to pursue her dream of helping others.Liz chose Pepperdine University School of Law because of its excellent course of study, as well as its Global Justice Program and its Asylum and Refugee Clinic, which was directed by a retired immigration judge at the time. At Pepperdine, Liz decided to pursue a Master’s in Dispute Resolution along with her law degree because Pepperdine offers the top-ranked dispute resolution program in the nation. She also participated on Pepperdine’s mock trial team, and was a member of the editorial board for the 2013 Symposium issue of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.
