Lori C. Scott
Lori Scott was born in Zweibrucken, West Germany. Lori began working as a Paralegal in 1994 and obtained an A.S. Degree in Legal Assisting in 1996. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in May 1999. In 2001, Lori received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. During law school, Lori made Dean’s List and was active in the Student Bar Association.
Lori has extensive experience in all phases of general civil litigation in both Florida and Georgia state courts as well as Federal court. Lori’s areas of practice include automobile liability (BI, PIP, UM, PD); bad faith and extra-contractual litigation; insurance coverage, declaratory judgment actions, and investigating S.I.U./Fraud; first and third party property and casualty claims; premises liability; negligent security; wrongful death; condominium and homeowners association litigation; director and officer liability (D&O); professional liability/errors & omissions (E&O); and representation of various State of Florida entities.
