Mackenzie M. Farmer originally from Middletown, Ohio graduated from Middletown High School in 2006 with a full scholarship to play women’s tennis at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. She graduated cum laude as a division I student-athlete from Texas State in 2009. While earning her Bachelors of Arts degree in political science and playing for the women’s tennis team, she was actively involved in student health organizations, and was the vice president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Her senior season she was a second team selection in Southland Conference. In her 2008 summer semester, Mackenzie studied lobbying in the European Union abroad and worked as an intern in Brussels, Belgium for the European Youth Forum.
