Mai Lan F. Isler joined the firm in 2003, and concentrates her practice in the areas of civil litigation and employment law. Mai Lan’s practice focuses on representing and advising management on employment matters, including drafting employee manuals and developing employment policies and procedures. She also defends the State of Alabama in several employment class action cases. Mai Lan received her bachelor of arts degree from the College of William and Mary in 1991, and her juris doctorate degree in May 1995 from Texas Tech University School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude and was an ABA National Moot Court Champion. Mai Lan was born in Danang, Viet Nam, and was raised in Virginia, Germany, Illinois, Georgia, and Maryland as the daughter of an Army officer.
