Mary concentrates her practice on family law and estate planning, including assisting clients with divorce and child custody matters. She is experienced in both minor guardianships, adult guardianships and protective placements. She further serves the Court in the role of a Guardian ad Litem where she makes recommendations to the Court regarding the best interest of the individual subject to the proposed guardianship. Mary has the dedication and experience to ensure the necessary pleadings are filed with the Court and the correct procedures are followed. She also counsels clients on the use of a professionally drafted Durable Power of Attorney or Health Care Power of Attorney to prevent the need for a guardianship in the event of a life changing event.
