Matthew J. Bernhardt
Matthew Bernhardt joined the firm as an associate in June of 2013. Client focused and results driven, Matthew represents clients in a variety of legal matters with his primary focus on general civil litigation and criminal litigation. He recognizes that each new case is unique and uses his extensive litigation experience to develop the best legal strategy to achieve desired results for his clients.
Matthew graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Systems Engineering in 2005. After completing two deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism as a Surface Warfare Officer, he returned to Annapolis to work in the Office of Admissions at the Naval Academy serving as a Regional Director, directing recruitment and marketing efforts in 7 States and 2 U.S. Territories, and as a Program Manager for the Summer Seminar and Blue and Gold Officer programs. Matthew left active duty to pursue his legal career and continues to serve as a Lieutenant Commander in the active Navy Reserves.
