Meghan K Zavoina, Esq.


Meghan K. Zavoina joined Michaud, Mittelmark, Marowitz & Asrani in August 2011. Ms. Zavoina concentrates her practice on medical malpractice, general liability, civil litigation and appellate work.

Prior to joining the firm, Meghan graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, she earned a graduate certificate in Health Care Risk Management from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and worked for Shands HealthCare Self-Insurance in the claims and litigation department. She also clerked for The Honorable James S. Moody, Jr., U.S. District Judge for the Middle District and The Honorable Richard Nielsen in Complex Business Litigation in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit.

Meghan served as the Vice President of the Health Care Law Society, a pupil of the James C. Adkins Inn of Court, and a member of the Florida Journal of International Law and Journal of Technology Law and Policy. She received the Pro Bono Award and was also a teaching assistant for Legal Research & Writing and Appellate Advocacy.
