Nicholas J. Jacobs
Nick is a 1976 graduate of Marquette University (cum laude), a 1979 graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and is licensed to practice in Michigan and Wisconsin. While attending law school in Lansing, Michigan he clerked for his State Senator and also volunteered as an auxiliary police officer for the Town of Mason. His practice concentrates in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation, criminal defense, real estate, general litigation, social security disability , divorce and family law. He formerly served as the Gogebic County prosecutor for ten years and has extensive trial experience. Nick has an AV Peer Review Rating by Lexis Nexis Martindale-Hubbell.
He is also a member and past president of the Ironwood-Hurley Rotary Club and past chairman of its Youth Exchange Program, former president of the Gogebic-Ontonagon Bar Association and also served as secretary to the Ironwood Area Chamber of Commerce. Nick is an active outdoors man participating in x-county and downhill skiing, windsurfing, biking, hunting and fishing.
