Nick joined Clawson and Staubes in 2012 and practices in the areas of commercial law, bankruptcy, foreclosure, lender liability, and commercial litigation.
Born and raised in Leavenworth, Kansas, Nick earned a degree in Economics from Furman University in 2005. While a student at Furman, he met his future wife, played power-forward for the Furman Men’s Basketball Team, and was President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Nick came to the lowcountry after a short basketball career where he played professionally in The Netherlands and coached at his alma mater, Furman. Nick followed his wife to law school at the Charleston School of Law where he was the Symposium Editor of the Charleston Law Review and was an active member of the Moot Court Board and James L. Petigru Inn of Court. He graduated magna cum laude and was selected for membership in the Forensic Club.
