Paul J. Driscoll
Paul was born in Weymouth, MA, as a youth lived in Braintree, MA, graduated from Braintree High School in 1961, Providence College in 1965 with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Political Science, and the Georgetown University Law Center in 1968. Paul then served as a law clerk for the Hon. Frank J. Murray in the U.S. District Court in Boston, and spent five years as a civil trial lawyer in Boston. In November of 1976, Paul formed a law firm in Marshfield concentrating in civil trial work. After practicing in Florida for five years, Don Gibson joined Paul’s firm as an associate in 1982 and later became a partner. Paul and Don founded the present law firm of Driscoll & Gibson.
Paul was admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1969, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 1970, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals in 1971. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Plymouth District Bar Association, as well as the American Association for Justice, and the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (Board of Governors). Since 2008, Paul has been included in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Pre-Eminent Lawyers in the fields of personal injury law and land use law.
