Pierce C. Azuma
Pierce joined Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett in 2015. Pierce’s practice focuses on claims arising under the Longshore & Harbor Workman’s Compensation Act, the Defense Base Act, the Jones Act, and the War Hazards Compensation Act. Pierce also is proficient in maritime personal injury defense, insurance coverage disputes, and workers’ compensation subrogation and recovery.
Pierce received his Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University College of Law. During law school, Pierce clerked with a number of New Orleans firms. Pierce also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, for his final three semesters.
