R. Austin Huffaker, Jr.


Mr. Huffaker joined the Firm in 1999 and has litigated a wide variety of civil cases with an emphasis in defending complex commercial, product and lender liability lawsuits. His experience in this area includes litigation of individual cases and mass tort and class action litigation, both at the local and national level.

Mr. Huffaker is regularly appointed as a deputy attorney general by the State of Alabama to represent its interests in a variety of litigation, including contract and Title VII actions. While he handles a broad range of complex litigation, in recent years the bulk of his practice has focused on the representation of clients in consumer fraud litigation. His experience has been invaluable in the representation of clients with complex litigation needs. Recently, Mr. Huffaker was appointed to serve as one of Alabama's three delegates for the 11th Circuit Judicial Conference for 2015-2016.
