Spoliation of evidence is when a person destroys, tampers with, hides, or withholds evidence that is relevant for a court case. Spoliation of evidence is a crime, and those accused of it can face criminal punishments if they are found guilty of it. There are many different ways through which a person can spoil evidence.
Rachel Park Hurt joined Arnett, Draper & Hagood, LLP in the fall of 2009. Rachel's primary practice areas are medical malpractice defense, health care law, and general civil litigation. During her time at the firm, Rachel has successfully defended various clients, in both state and federal court, obtaining multiple defense verdicts and favorable appellate opinions.
