Raymond has been with the firm since January 2011. Ray is a central Minnesota native, having lived on a farm in Marty, Minnesota before residing for the remainder of his youth a block and a half south of Technical High School in St. Cloud, Minnesota. At the age of 16, Ray began working for a local automotive body shop, where he would remain until attending law school nearly a decade later.
After high school, Raymond attended St. Cloud State University, the Alma Mater of each of his siblings and both of his parents. There, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, graduating magna cum laude in 2006. After taking a year off from school, Raymond continued his studies at the University of Minnesota Law School, graduating magna cum laude in May of 2010. During his second year, Ray’s article The End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) Directive: The Road to Responsible Disposal was published in the Minnesota Journal of International Law. An article he edited during his third year at the University of Minnesota,Self-Determination, Sovereignty, and the Failure of States: Somaliland and the Case for Justified Succession, was also published.
