Richard J. Raimond
Richard J. Raimond joined Goodell, Stratton, Edmonds & Palmer, L.L.P. in the fall of 2006 and has a broad range of experience in civil litigation and transactional matters, with a particular focus on creditors’ rights, contracts, employment law, landlord-tenant matters, UCC transactions, and trademarks.
Mr. Raimond is a 2006 graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law He graduated from the University of Bristol, England in 1999 with an honors degree in English and Philosophy.
During law school, Mr. Raimond served as Note and Comment Editor for the University of Kansas Law Review and interned for Judge James P. O’Hara of the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. He also worked in the school’s Legal Aid Clinic which provides legal services to low income clients, for which he received the Mary Anne Chambers Service Award in 2006. He is the author of The Role of Indefinite Detention in Antiterrorism Legislation, published in the January 2006 edition of the Kansas Law Review.
