Richard moved to Colorado during elementary school and attended Heritage High School in Littleton. After high school, he served his country in the U.S. Army as an airborne infantryman, where he was awarded a full ROTC scholarship for his outstanding leadership and organizational skills. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated in 1991 with a degree in Business Finance. In 1994, Richard earned his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law, where he was a member of the law review.
Since 1994, Richard Postma has provided his clients with the highest quality legal representation. His extensive experience of over more than twenty years as an attorney includes service as a military attorney in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, an associate at a large multi-state law firm, an Assistant Attorney General, a District Court Judge for the Alaska Court System, and as an attorney in private practice.
