Rong T. Kohtz
Ms. Kohtz received her J.D. and L.L.M. from Columbia University in New York City, where she was a John M. Olin Fellow in Law and Economics. Ms. Kohtz is also a graduate of Peking (Beijing) University Law School, Beijing, China. For several years, Ms. Kohtz was funded by the Ford Foundation to work on projects designed to promote social equality, constitutional democracy and rule of law in transitional societies in Asia and Eastern Europe.After working for some renowned international law firms in New York, Beijing, and Hong Kong, Ms. Kohtz established her own family law practice in New York in 2004. Ms. Kohtz brings to the practice of family law a deep appreciation of differences among countries in substantive law, judicial procedures, legal environment, language and culture.
