Russell M. Racine
Russell M. Racine joined Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (CSH Law) in 2014. His practice focuses primarily on intellectual property, construction litigation, and aviation law. Russ is a member of the North Carolina, South Carolina, and Colorado Bar associations. He is also a registered patent attorney licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, Russ attended Muhlenburg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Natural Science, he worked as a chemist for three years before attending law school. In 1999, Russ received his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law, in Denver, Colorado. While in law school, he was a member of the moot court team and clerked for an intellectual property law firm. Following law school, Russ developed his trial skills by prosecuting felonies in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Russ tried numerous jury trials and bench trials before taking and passing the Patent Bar in 2003
