Sam C. Doak
Sam Doak graduated from The Webb School in Bell Buckle, Tennessee in 1979. He attended undergraduate school at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville obtaining a bachelor of science degree in Finance in 1984. He attended law school at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville obtaining his doctor of jurisprudence in 1988. Sam is currently a partner at Arnett, Draper & Hagood, LLP in Knoxville, Tennessee where his practice primarily focuses on civil litigation involving workers' compensation defense, employment law, insurance defense, trucking accident litigation, products liability defense and construction litigation. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Tennessee as well as the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Tennessee. He is very active in the Knoxville Bar Association, currently serving on the Knoxville Bar Association Board of Governors and in 2001 served as President of the Knoxville Barristers, Young Lawyers Division of the Knoxville Bar and this year serving as its Immediate Past President. He has also served on the Knoxville Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Committee since 1996 and was Chair/Construction Manager for the Knoxville Bar Association Habitat for Humanity Easton Meadow Construction Project in 2000. In 2002 Sam served as the Co-Chair for the Knoxville Bar Association Barristers Habitat for Humanity Committee. Sam was also appointed to be a member of Knoxville Nucleus in 2002.
