Sandy D. Baron
Sandy David Baron is appreciated by clients for being a problem solver. Sandy utilizes more than 35 years of litigation and mediation experience to help resolve their problems.
Sandy's practice focuses on a variety of commercial litigation matters, including employment and contract disputes. He also represents clients in matters related to personal injury, credit reporting, student disciplinary proceedings (including suspension and expulsion proceedings) and criminal law. Sandy litigates a wide variety of cases before the federal and state trial courts in Maryland. He received a multi-million dollar verdict in a case brought against a county for discharging employees who participated in a strike.
Before joining Shulman Rogers, Sandy served as a law clerk to the Honorable Howard S. Chasanow and practiced for more than 15 years with the law firm of Goldstein and Baron, Chartered. He taught business law at the University of Maryland and a "Professionalism Course" to new members of the Maryland State Bar for the Maryland State Bar Association. Sandy served by appointment as a regular member of the Inquiry Committee of the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland and is a past President of the Marlborough Inn of Court.
