Scott R. Pettitt received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2006 and his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2009 where he was named one of the University’s Dean’s scholars. During law school Scott clerked at the Clark County Public Defender’s Office in Las Vegas, Nevada and later worked as a law clerk for a law firm in Hartford, Connecticut with a practice focused on insurance defense matters. Scott was admitted to the Nevada Bar and the United States District Court for the District of Nevada in 2009. He has extensive experience litigating personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. Scott’s other practice areas have included insurance bad faith, employment law, family law, bankruptcy, receivership law, administrative law and collections. Scott also speaks fluent Spanish.
