Shannon J. Dougherty is an associate in our bankruptcy group. In addition to bankruptcy, Shannon has experience in many areas of civil litigation. Shannon litigates mortgage foreclosures actions, contract disputes, and cases involving homeowners associations. Additionally, Shannon volunteers with the Office of the Child Advocate.
Prior to joining the firm, Shannon worked in the financial industry. After matriculating law school, Shannon worked as a research assistant to two professors. Shannon assisted in researching Enslaved by Words: Legalities and Limitations of ‘Post-Racial’ Language. Shannon also co-authored Unusually Common Conundrum: PUCC Article 3 in Foreclosure Proceedings.
Shannon is licensed to practice law in the State of Delaware, United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
