Originally from New Orleans, Ms. Eastman-Stuart relocated to the Northwestern portion of the country – living in Montana, Colorado, Idaho and Oregon – before returning to graduate high school in Louisiana. She then attended Southeastern Louisiana University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, with minors in History and Biology. During her time at Southeastern University Ms. Eastman-Stuart was named to the Dean’s List numerous times. She was also a member of the Gamma Beta Phi National Honor Society and the Phi Alpha Theta Honors History Society. She pursued a Master’s degree in history, before switching gears and attending Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center and earning her Juris Doctorate degree in 2001.
