My name is Stephen Dawley. I started my own legal practice a number of years ago after being a partner in a firm. I have practiced law for over thirty years representing people in Metrowest and Massachusetts primarily in the areas of criminal defense, civil litigation, real estate law and probate administration.
My dedication to this community is an essential complement to my legal practice. In law school, I represented indigent women in Essex County who needed a divorce, often from abusive husbands. I have also provided free legal services to indigent men and women in domestic relations cases in Middlesex County. Some of my other volunteer activities have included the Big Brother program, serving on the Board of The 200 Foundation, coaching youth sports, being a hospice volunteer, offering legal counsel at a homeless shelter, and serving as a member and Chair of the Human Rights Committee at The New England Center for Children.
