Terence J. Scanlan
Terence J. Scanlan is a principal in the firm. He focuses his litigation practice in the areas of construction law, commercial litigation, appellate advocacy, and the representation of design professionals, including architects and engineers. Terry is admitted to practice in the federal and state courts of Washington, the state courts of Oregon, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is also admitted to practice in Alaska. Terry has received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating (“AV”).
Terry is a member of the American Bar Association, Washington State Bar Association, and King County Bar Association. He has served on the KCBA Judicial Screening Committee since 1999, and was co-chair of that committee for the 2002-2003 term. He has also served on the WSBA Court Improvement Committee. Terry volunteers in the KCBA Neighborhood Clinics program for low-income persons. Terry served on the King County Bar Association Board of Trustees between 2006-2009.
