Tim Gatza is an Illinois Valley native, growing up in the LaSalle-Peru area. After attending St. Bede Academy in Peru, he graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with bachelor's degrees in both criminal legal studies and sociology. Tim then accepted a full merit scholarship to the Michigan State University College of Law, where he was president of the Public Interest Law Society, and earned a Certificate in Child and Family Advocacy through the law school's clinics. Tim's main areas of practice include family law, criminal law, property law, and personal injury. He prides himself on taking a personalized approach to the practice of law.
