Tyler Osburn came to the firm in January, 2013 as an extern and, after being sworn in, has been practicing on staff. Tyler has experience in many areas of civil law, including manufacturer sales representative compensation, general personal injury, civil rights, commercial contracts, insurance law, real property, and products liability. He also has experience in immigration law and would like to expand his practice into this area; and he is fluent in Spanish. Tyler earned his law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude and 10th out of his class of 486 students. During his time in law school, Tyler was a Senior Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, a national team member in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition, president of the Hispanic/Latino Law Society, and he earned the certificate of merit for the highest grade in 11 different courses. Tyler completed his undergraduate studies at Hope College with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and minors in Management and Religion, where he was also captain of the lacrosse team and an all-conference goalie.
