Uzodima Franklin Aba-Onu
Uzodima Franklin Aba-Onu graduated cum laude from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. He participated in the Jessup International Moot Court, receiving a top oralist and best brief award. He was also a 2010 scholarly engagement and societal reform award recipient. Uzodima received his B.A. from DePauw University. He currently is an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law and Hamline University.
Prior to joining Bassford Remele, Uzodima practiced in the areas of insurance defense, subrogation, and appellate law. He also served as an Assistant Attorney General in both the public safety and human services divisions, where he gained extensive knowledge on constitutional and administrative law, practicing on issues regarding the Minnesota Implied Consent Law, the Minnesota Private Detective Board, mental health, licensing, and health and child care matters, as well as consumer fraud issues.
