Verity Gentry Bell
Verity Gentry Bell was raised in Many, Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she received a degree in Business Administration while working in the Executive Division of the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans in 2010 and graduated cum laude. While in law school, she was a member of the Maritime Law Society and St. Thomas More Inn of Court. She also served as Substance and Citation Editor of the Maritime Law Journal. Verity was named a William L. Crowe, Sr. Scholar and graduated in the top 10 percent of her law school class.
After graduation, Verity Gentry Bell practiced as a criminal defense attorney in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she gained valuable trial and negotiation experience in over 30 trials. In 2013, Verity moved to Shreveport and now focuses her practice on plaintiffs’ personal injury law.
