Victor H. Veschio
Victor H. Veschio, a Tampa native, earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice in 1994 from the University of South Florida and his J.D. in 1998 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, with honors. He practiced law in Tampa for 16 years before joining Gibbons Neuman in 2014. Mr. Veschio has developed expertise representing national banks, credit unions and private investors in the area of creditors’ rights litigation throughout the state of Florida. He has extensive experience in mortgage foreclosure proceedings; bankruptcy stay lift litigation, lien stripping and objection proceedings in bankruptcy court; collections, replevins, quiet title suits, garnishments, defense (FCCPA and Stay Violations) and appellate representation.
In February 2010, Mr. Veschio authored an article for the Hillsborough County Bar Associations’ LAWYER magazine titled:Winning The Abusive Bankruptcy Serial Filings Game. He was also a guest panel speaker before the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association on the topic of evidentiary foundations and best trial practices in lien stripping and valuations in Bankruptcy Court.
