W. Harrison Coleman, Jr.


Harrison Coleman joined the firm in 2004, opened the firm’s Atlanta office in 2005 and is a third generation member of the firm. Harrison’s real estate practice is concentrated in the representation of owners, lenders and asset management companies in the resolution of problem loans or equity investments and the legal aspects of the ongoing management of real estate owned (REO) assets. Harrison is currently serving as coordinating special counsel to one of the country’s largest and most respected rated loan servicers and performs any number of the following daily tasks for that client and other lending institutions.

In addition to his real estate practice, Harrison has extensive experience in corporate legal matters for small to mid-sized companies including entity formation, governance and regulatory matters, labor and employment, strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions.

Harrison is a lecturer for continuing education classes for the Georgia Bankers Association, Georgia’s banking trade organization. Harrison’s seminars focus on real estate loan due diligence procedures, loan documentation, loan participations, foreclosure, REO asset management and lender liability matters.
