After graduating with Bachelor of Arts in history from Pomona College in Claremont, Calif., Mr. Davies attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, graduating first in his class in 1993.Mr. Davies has been with the firm since his first year at the University of Tennessee. He became a partner in January 1999, and today serves as the firm's managing partner. He is also the Immediate Past President of the Knoxville Bar Association and serves on the Executive Committee.In his criminal defense practice Mr. Davies represents individuals at both the trial and appellate levels. His practice ranges from state court cases to the most complex federal matters. His civil practice includes an emphasis on representing individuals in litigation against the state and federal government and agencies. Mr. Davies represents doctors and other health care providers in criminal, civil and administrative cases. He has served as an expert witness on the standards for defense counsel in criminal cases.
