William L. Breedlove (Associate) was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2010 and the Iowa Bar in 2012. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law. While in law school, William taught undergraduate ethics and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law Technology & Policy. Following law school, he received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain where he was valedictorian and presented research in front of the African Network of Constitutional Lawyers in Rabat, Morocco.
At the trial level, William engages in all manner of litigation while focusing his practice on bankruptcy, consumer protection, probate, and probate challenges. Mr. Breedlove takes appeals in all areas of law, and often serves as court-appointed conflict counsel on post-conviction criminal motions. In addition to trial and appellate practice, Mr. Breedlove maintains an active transactional practice in the areas of real estate practice, business entity formation and estate planning, from basic wills to complex trusts.
