Kim is an accomplished attorney with wide and varied experience in bankruptcy matters, including commercial and consumer bankruptcy proceedings. She focuses her practice on representing debtors in consumer bankruptcy proceedings and debtor’s rights cases. She has more than nineteen years of bankruptcy experience, five years prior to and during law school as a paralegal, and more than fourteen years as a licensed attorney. Kim moved to Philadelphia in late 2008 and immediately began representing consumers in bankruptcy proceedings. Most recently she worked for HalprinLaw in South Philly, a firm dedicated to debtors’ rights. Prior to moving to Philadelphia, Kim worked as a consumer bankruptcy attorney in the Middle District of Pennsylvania with John Neblett, a certified consumer bankruptcy attorney. From 2002 through 2007, Kim was an attorney with the law firm of Leech Tishman Fuscaldo & Lampl, LLC in Pittsburgh, PA where she worked on Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings by providing advice and counsel to businesses, trade creditors, secured creditors, and creditors’ committees. Prior to working in Pittsburgh, she represented consumers and small businesses in bankruptcy proceedings in the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio and the Eastern District of Kentucky. Kim received her Juris Doctor at Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Northern Kentucky in 1996. During the Summer of 1995, she worked as a law clerk for the law firm of Estudio Llona Y Bustamante Abogados while living in Lima, Peru focusing on international business transactions.
